My Love is a Stapler - K-On!

Michelle, just for fun, if you're reading this, SCREW YOU!!!!!

After months of waiting, the full version of the song is finally released.
I don't know why they released the song so late (2 months), even though the other songs were released a few weeks after their appearance in the anime.

I have to say, the song is awesome!
Especially in the parts where Mio comes in, I really like her voice ^^

Well, I was planning to cover the song when it first appeared in the anime, but I chose to wait for the full version instead, so here it is ^_^

What actually happened in MACC

wanted to blog this a few days ago, a day or two after Teoh Beng Hock's death, but lazy to login to blogger.

This is actually from a movie called Der Untergang (Downfall) casting Bruno Ganz (an Austrian actor) as Adolf Hitler. Watched the movie last year, liked it. Much more than Valkyrie cuz this movie is in German, unlike that Goddamn British Accent (some of em') speaking actors in Valkyrie. Dawnfall is about how Hitler, his wife, and his dog died. And also his commanders and generals commiting suicide just before the USSR taking over Berlin. Worth Watching! There are tons of parodies on the same scene... try googling hitler xbox360, will have the same scene! And of course, in every of these parodies, what the person talks doesn't fit the subtitles at all!

Halo (Anime) Will be coming out soon!

This is such good news for all of us Halo Game fans, although I didn't had the chance to play Halo 3 cuz i don't have Windows Vista. But the anime is finally coming out! Who loves Japan baby?!

MasterChief!

From Anime News Network (ANN)

The BONES, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation anime studios are animating Halo Legends, a DVD anthology of seven short films based on Microsoft Studios' Halo game franchise. Microsoft's creative staff is approving the visuals and storytelling. Three of the creative directors are Frank O'Connor of Microsoft's 343 Industries, Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), and Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, The Sky Crawlers). J-Spec Pictures' Joseph Chou (Appleseed) is producing.

Aramaki's short will cover the history of the Spartan warrior class from the games. Studio 4°C will animate two 30-minute shorts about "the entire 100,000 year history of the Halo universe." Toei's short "is outside of the official canon and pokes fun at some of the game's characters."

100th Day Of Najib as the Prime Minister

Since that Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim's boys are monitoring all Malaysian blogs to avoid any smart people from talking bad about the government, so I'm gonna control my rants. Because I don't want to go down to the history as the first ever teenage blogger to end up in ISA. Anyway, since Raja Petra's blog was once banned before for causing a major uproar over the internet regarding Barisan Nasional's "Good" plans, this incident raised many independent bloggers across the internet. For example, obefiend's blog http://obefiend.blogspot.com/ and http://blogserius.blogspot.com/ have been becoming more popular. Although Raja Petra's blog was banned from access, we all used proxies to enter his site (hah, government dumbasses) Anyway, the show that is being aired on national television , sounds more like bullshit, too good to be true~! Even his wife is a dark arts (dark magic) user!

World Destruction!! Episode 1

In a way, World Destruction is a series with a bit of a confusing gestation, being based as it is upon a Nintendo DS game of the same name that hasn't actually been released yet. The game is being released by Sega in Japan this Summer, with development talent which includes key former members of Square Enix, and the anime seems to have some equally impressive names behind it, with Production I.G. doing the animation honours in their usual polished and distinctive style.

As you would expect, this opening episode is all about bringing the main characters together, and what a motley crew they are. First we have Kirie, a young human who has disguised himself as a beastman just to get a part-time job in this world where the two races hardly see eye to eye. Then there's Morte, who has managed to have herself dubbed with the moniker of World Destruction Commitee - A very apt title, seeing as she does indeed appear Hell-bent on destroying the world no matter. Finally, we have... err... a detective who's a cute, whisky drinking bear with an eye patch.

If there's one thing to be said for this series early on, it's that it's giving the character designers a golden opportunity to run riot, from the aforementioned teddy bear to an army of cats with a penchant for sacrifices to their God... and this is just the first episode!

This opening instalment does quite a masterful job at setting the scene in a well paced and suitably action-centric way, all with a fair amount of visual polish and enough enjoyment to be had from the characters and story to hook you. Yes, it is probably going to go the way of many a cliched action/adventure series, including an otherwise useless guy who somehow has some hidden special power and so on; but this first episode certainly proves to be fun, and you can't really ask for anything much more from this particular genre of anime.

To my shame, watching this and seeing the trailer for the Nintendo DS game almost makes me want to own a copy. Although I suppose actually owning a Nintendo DS first would help... ><

AppleSeed: Ex Machina

The 2004 Appleseed remake was a difficult one for me to rate - On the one hand, it featured some fantastic set piece action sequences that I could happily watch over and over again (with the opening sequence of the movie possibly one of the best examples of choreographed action against a perfect soundtrack since The Matrix's infamous lobby scene), but on the other it had contained some very stilted dialogue and a plot that really didn't capture my imagination. The soundtrack also gave the movie a rather Westernised feel, which similarly both worked and failed to grab my interest in equal measure.

Appleseed Ex Machina sees Deunan Knute and Briareos reunited in action once again, and as would be fitting of a sequel to the 2004 Appleseed offering, it begins with a short but intense action sequence - Oh, did I mention a certain John Woo was involved in producing this movie? This call to action ends with Briareos hospitalising, giving Deunan a new partner to work with - Tereus, a bioroid who bears more than a passing resemblance to Briareos before he became the man-machine he currently lives his life as.

From here, the plot takes in the ups and downs of creating a global communications network, which the baddie of the piece then uses to send lolcats to the unsuspecting citizens of the world who are addicted to personal communication devices of their own. Okay, okay, so I made up the lolcat part. We also (in keeping with the original movie) have cause to question the morality of cloning and creating bionic humans with certain emotions removed, and see Deunan face up to the question of just how unswerving her love for Briareos is.

Or at least, we would be asked those questions were any of them really posed in any depth during the course of the movie. Although the Appleseed franchise is based on a work by Masamune Shirow, we see little in the way of his trademark philosophical, political and moral debates surface here. Instead, the focus is kept well and truly on the action side of the movie, keeping things moving thick and fast to ensure the explosions and gunfire keep coming.

This action-oriented focus certainly keeps the movie ticking along with a certain amount of entertainment throughout, although the action sequences never really caught my eye in the same way as the 2004 Appleseed remake managed, often simply being too fast and furious to fully appreciate even with the smatterings of inevitable bullet time effects. The use of CG in a cel animation style certainly makes for an interesting look for the movie (as it did its predecessor), giving it a video game feel that is in keeping with its action-packed nature. While the soundtrack isn't packed with big names like the movie before it, it still had a fair impact at times, to the point where I wouldn't mind taking a peek at the soundtrack at some point.

Overall then, if you're hoping for something thought-provoking out of Appleseed Ex Machina - Forget it, you really won't find it here. If a couple of hours of neat visuals and explosive action is more your bag, then this movie is a decent enough jaunt to pass the time. Personally, I preferred the first movie, but only by a whisker.

Let's Revert - make an about turn

When you come to a roundabout,

There’re lots to think about.

Where do you want to go?

Which way the traffic flows?

Tomorrow is but another day,

Yet it is today you have to say.

Everyone knows you got to show,

You are the one that must know.

It is possible to go forward,

To the right, left or backwards,

Choose the direction you want,

Our children’s future you plant.

Like spineless jellyfish that you are,

You daren’t reach for the star.

You took the easy way out,

You make a U-turn at the roundabout!

The use of English is paramount,

This you know and must take to account.

Yet for selfish reasons of your own,

You make millions in your nation groan!

You are thinking of being politically right,

You only care for UMNO’s fight!

You gave some silly ridiculous reasons,

Our children kept in a useless language prison!

Generations after you will curse,

No one will be behind your hearse.

You are one of many cowards,

Who would not dare choose the way forward!

If only i could publish this is the school mag, lulz

Ministry of Education Sengal, pricks, bastards, retards, dietards, tarps

THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH U PEOPLE.

IMO, the decision is purely a political one. If the Gov feel this decision will let them get the votes and keep them in power, then they will do it. If in the future, English will keep them in power, then they will change again. If Korean or Japanese language will keep them in power, they will do it also. Who cares if the country sinks, somebody just wanna their $$$$$. Have a look at this.

Teachers
-no motivation
-low salary & with the current economy. How to survive, need pay their children also what.
-senior teacher gets LOWER pay than NEW teacher
-majority does not want to go rural areas and teach. They still have their family.
-increment of RM50-200 if you go to rural?Im not sure of the real amount, but its around there.
-From past experiences, some also cant speak proper BM nor ENGLISH
-too much paperwork and some exams for them to get promoted as well.

Students
-lack initiative
-likes spoonfed, too much yrs of it
-Doesnt think much. All is just GRADES AND GRADES
-rural areas, can just get a copy of NST.Just ask those top10 richest guys in malaysia and donate lar.RM10k per school how much to them?i rmb in the STAR,the newspaper quoted THE RM93mil is nothing but loose change to certain someone.
Syllabus and system
-mess
-OLD THINKING,not open-minded :x
-doesnt PREPARE the student for further education.Like in college, university or overseas.Even our form6 is in ENGLISH,
so WHAT TEH HE!! the ministers are doing.I believe most respondents agree with ENGLISH
-too much polictiking in it anyway
-the system as like post on 1st page mentioned, too fast implemantion. They did not study the plan carefully nor implemented it with consideration of the able-teaching teachers.
-i remember in form4(im in form6 nw)the teachers were all just GRADUATEES,zero experience.fresh from the campus
-and they cant teach.1 of it just RUSH AND RUSH to finish up the syllabus.Dint even bother to make sure we really understand and with the crappy english, she sucks

The PUBLIC
-agrees most on ENGLISH
-majority blinded by the Bijan Nation promise

Just finished watching Pokemon Movie 2000~

phew, after long hours of patience, I've finally finished downloading the 2nd Movie of Pokemon. Although i have the bloody VCD, but the downloaded contents are always good quality :O It's been years since I watched the movie, remembered every single scene, but still fun! I like the Pikachu's Side Movie, Pikachu's Rescue. The theme song damn nice to hear, try downloading that song from this torrent or google O-Town - comin to the rescue. That song rocks my socks. http://www.mininova.org/tor/565569

There are many songs in it, all quite nice to listen to :O u can always download certain files from a torrent deshou??? Search at the Pokemon 2000 - The Power of One. That song is in there. And there's another nice instrumental music in it. The legend comes to life. Also under Pokemon 2000 - The Power of One.

And from where I downloaded the movie from? There Baka BT, formerly known as Box Torrents (too bad that site changed owner, but duh, database, users, ID, all the same, different tracker only....)

http://www.bakabt.com/
http://www.bakabt.com/browse.php?q=pokemon+movie

So far there are only 11 movies on that site, oh well. They'll add more once 4Kids dubb the latest ones. Cheers

I almost broke into tears watching this vid :))

Okay, I'm posting now bcuz i feel like it :P

Just now my Swedish friend gave me a wrong URL for a youtube video :x he accidentally gave me this instead!

After watching it, I felt really speechless, this was the First ever pokemon theme song I listened to back in year 2001 or so! during that time, a neighbor of mine gave me a few VCDs of Cantonese Dubbed Pokemon Episodes (all random stuffs) they dubbed it to cantonese from the Japanese version (some of u might notice that Japanese Pokemon and English Pokemon are pretty much the same animations, just that they have different Opening themes, songs, pokemon names and character names etc. etc.) But i watched a lot of the Japanese versions last time. Until around 2003, I got bored watching it bcuz i dont understand a single thing (the cantonese VCD) because I can't really understand canto, and i dont have the first few eps, all randomized. Then they started airing it on NTV 7, the ENGLISH one, finally, wow. Cool! Watched quite a number of episodes of the english version. Then watched the 2nd movie I think, the Lugia and the 3 legendary Pokemon Birds. Really a giant fan. Then I started playing GameBoy Color (Pokemon Yellow) played like hell, a neighbor's gameboy that's when i started playing the PC version of Pokemon Yellow (The Gameboy color Emulator for computers), then later that time I bought a new Gameboy ADVANCE, first game was Pokemon Sapphire, then Leaf Green, stunning, very addictive i must say.

2005

2005 is like a when i got serious into Pokemon, thanks to my old gang, best buds! Oooh I wonder what they could be doing now.

Lim Tou Nam (Pokemon TCG player, he was the one who dragged me into Trading Card Game and Pokemon Educations)
Chan Lek Hsien (Another retarded guy obsessed with Pokemon)
Shaunjit Singh (muahahahha, Also die hard fan, he doesn't watch the cartoon though, only some movies and Gameboy ADVANCE and Nintendo DS)
And ME!

All of us were active TCG (Trading Card Game) players that time, luckily all of us had "kind" parents, we always visit each others houses. Like heyyy lets go to my house this evening~ That was like our most frequently discussed topic in school! We spent hundreds (thousands for Tou Nam) of dollars invested on this!

August 2005

Shaun
migrated to Canada for some time (we thought we will never see him again, had farewell party at his old CP7 Terrace house until like 3am or so, lolz. We still carried on in our interests tho. 9 month (or was it 8?) after that, he came back to Malaysia all in a sudden, too bad he ended up in the middle class while the three of us were in the first class. sigh. During the period he wasn't here. The three of us were still interested to Pokemon, and started getting interested on Gundam Seed too! (nah, didn't spend too much money investing on Gundam Seed, although it was like nearly $500) Shaun didn't get influenced by Gundam, until this day he is still against it! lmao. We continued playing TCG after that, traded cards among each other blah blah. During that time i didn't watch the cartoon much. TV stopped airing it, i didn't know how to download anime shows that time, so what to do? Dunno, dun care. Bought the Jirachi Movie, Celebi movie, and Latios and Latias Movie, i was like WOW! The graphics of the Pokemon series really changed a lot! (although we already knew that after looking at the latest versions of the TCG card's artwork and also the GameBoy ADVANCE games, looked very different. Cuz i only watched the 1st Season before, during 2006 i dun wanna know how many seasons have been released so far... (i think it's now currently airing season 13, each season has 50 episodes or so! hah! beat that Bleach/Naruto!!!) and got 12 Movies already (twelfth Movie to be released this month, I think all movies are featuring legendary pokemons)

These are the photos of the current Pokemon TV Series! Enjoice!

http://paizo.com/image/product/catalog/PZOP/PZOP0075_500.jpegOld Version of the Pokemon TCG, thanks to trading with Lim the veteran, i have some of these too, it came out during 1995 if I"m not mistaken.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/n06_0906_df099_lg.jpgCards back in 2006 looked like this, this type of TCG is the type i have the most, since i was active during those days.

http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/n07_0319_dpcard001lg.jpg2007 version, I dont remember being active during that year, as u can see, there are now levels beside the Pokemon's name, trying to follow the gameboy version i guess.
http://www.go-pokemon.com/tcg/cards/dp/05/cardgallery/popups/DP5_EN_92ivle3.jpg2008 card version, one of the energy cards, looks better than the old one.
http://pokebeach.com/scans/base-set/98-fire-energy.jpgI got some from Lim, the old 1995 cards (energy) looks classical~
http://img3.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire1/c41520a71972d2c3733e84121dee58551227727533_full.jpgThe type of card that i use, this card is kinda rare! I dunno about now, during my days as a TCG player, certain rare cards u happen to get from Booster packs (not pre made decks, duh) can fetch up to £200 or like hundreds of ringgit!

:D I'M GONNA CATCH UP! Thanks for Reading over my boring posts
